11 resource suggestions

Add the resources your goal needs. Use current game values; results update as you type.

Enter the costs and production rates shown in your game. Blank stock or production is treated as 0. Sample inputs are hypothetical examples, not game costs.

RESOURCES READY—
ESTIMATED WAIT—
PLAN STATUSEnter a required cost to identify your bottleneck.

Estimates assume constant production. Enter net production after upkeep; transfers, boosts, storage limits, and offline changes are not included.

Take your plan with you.

Copy the current inputs and results as plain text. Your values are not uploaded by this calculator.

02 / READ THE RESULT

A shortage is not the whole story.

The calculator separates resources you already have from resources still accumulating, then estimates when the entire entered budget is ready.

A

Find each shortfall

Subtract current stock from required cost. If stock is equal to or greater than the cost, the shortfall is zero and that row is ready. Blank stock is treated as zero; a blank cost leaves the row out of the summary.

shortfall = max(cost − stock, 0)
B

Estimate each wait

Divide a positive shortfall by net production per hour. A missing resource with zero production has no finite wait under these inputs. The result asks for a rate instead of inventing an arrival time.

hours = shortfall ÷ net hourly rate
C

Follow the bottleneck

Resources accumulate in parallel, so take the longest individual wait. Do not add the waits together. “Resources ready” counts rows with enough stock, while “Estimated wait” covers all included requirements.

total wait = longest resource wait

03 / A WORKED EXAMPLE

Five hours, not eight.

This is the same hypothetical example loaded by “Load sample inputs.” Every number is invented to explain the calculation, not an actual Build and Conquer cost or rate.

Hypothetical resource budget
ResourceRequired costStockNet / hourShortfallWait
Food1,0004002006003 hours
Oil Bottleneck6001001005005 hours
Gold300300500Ready now
RESOURCES READY1 of 3
ESTIMATED WAIT5 hours

Food reaches its target in three hours. Oil needs five. Gold is already covered, so Oil sets the wait for the whole goal.

Once you have tried the sample, reset or replace every figure with current values from your own game.

04 / MAKE THE ESTIMATE USEFUL

Keep the budget honest.

Use consistent units

Enter full quantities, not shorthand. For example, enter 2,500 as 2500 rather than 2.5k. A net rate of 10 per minute is 600 per hour. Cost, stock, and production must refer to the same resource unit.

Account for consumption

If gross production is 300 per hour and ongoing spending is 100, enter 200 as the net rate. If consumption meets or exceeds production, enter zero and reassess the supply plan. Negative inputs are rejected.

Check capacity and spending

The estimate assumes you can store the required amount and do not spend the same stock elsewhere. Verify storage in your game. Budget consecutive goals separately, using the stock left after the first goal.

Recalculate when things change

Production is assumed constant. Transfers, purchases, boosts, raids, and changes while offline are not modeled. Update your current stock and rate after a change. Construction, research, training, and travel time are separate.

05 / FIELD QUESTIONS

Build and Conquer calculator FAQ

Which resources can I calculate?

The developer lists Food, Oil, Gold, Electricity, Diesel, SP95, SP98, Berium, Plutonium, Uranium, and Titanium. The name field suggests those 11 resources and also accepts a custom label. “Berium” follows the developer’s published spelling. Add only the resources required by your goal, up to 11 rows, and use each name once.

Does this tool know building levels or exact game costs?

No. Enter the current costs and production rates from your own game. There is no preset cost database, live game connection, or account import. The calculation works with your inputs; it does not decide the best building or unit to buy.

What happens when a production rate is zero?

If you already have enough stock, the resource is ready regardless of the rate. If stock is short and the rate is zero or blank, the row shows “No production rate” and the total shows “Rate needed.” That is a signal to review your supply, not an estimate of zero waiting time.

Why does the calculator use the longest wait?

The estimate assumes each resource is produced at the same time. When one takes three hours and another takes five, both are available after five hours. Adding the waits would count time twice. This model does not cover production that must be scheduled sequentially.

Can I plan more than one upgrade?

You can enter combined costs for a clearly defined group of tasks, but the result estimates when that combined resource budget is available. It does not model prerequisites or the order of construction. For consecutive upgrades, update the usable stock after each purchase and calculate again.

Are my inputs saved or sent anywhere?

This calculator processes inputs in your browser. It does not upload your resource values or automatically save them. Reloading clears the working plan. “Copy results” writes a text summary to your clipboard only when you choose it; if that fails, a selectable text summary appears here.

06 / SOURCES & SCOPE

An independent planning tool.

Resource names were checked against the developer’s resources and economy overview on October 11, 2026. The shortage and waiting-time formulas are general arithmetic; the worked example is hypothetical. Check the latest in-game values before committing resources.

Build and Conquer Field Guide is an independent fan resource. This tool does not access your game account and is not endorsed by the developer.
